An eVisa once issued is only valid for Multiple entry to Sri lanka. It is valid for 6 months time period from the date of its issuance, and lets you stay in the Sri lanka territory for a maximum of 30 days. The visa is only issued for tourism and commercial purposes. Once the applicant enters Sri lanka, they will be subject to Sri lanka laws.

While staying in Sri lanka, the traveler is not allowed to accept any type of employment, or enrol for any educational courses. You as a traveler are also not allowed to represent the foreign information media in Sri lanka.

It is your own duty to ensure that you leave the Sri lanka territory on, or before the expiration of your eVisa.

The approval and denial of the visa is completely based on the decision of the Sri lanka High Commission/Consulate. The High Commission reserves all the rights to refuse the eVisa application. Just applying for the visa does not guarantee that the eVisa will be issued.

While filling up the eVisa application form, make sure you provide true and accurate information of the traveler. Any, mistake or wrong information may lead to rejection of the eVisa.

If after rejection, you choose to re-apply for the new visa, then you will be asked to pay for a new eVisa application.

An eVISA may be revoked at any time and for any reason, such as new information influencing eligibility. Applicants may be subjected to administrative or criminal penalty if they knowingly and will fully make any materially false, fictitious, or fraudulent statement or representation in an electronic travel authorization application submitted by the applicant or on the applicant's behalf.

It is applicants duty to make sure that all the supporting documents or images uploaded by him/her for the visa application are clear and adhere by the specifications as stated by the Sri lanka High Commission/Consulate. If the images or documents fail to fulfil the specified criteria, then it may result in an eVISA application rejection or denial of entry into Sri lanka by the Sri lanka Immigration Officer at the entry/exit points.

As soon as the payment is made by the applicant on our website, we will start processing your visa application for the approval. The approval of eVISA application is under the sole discretion of the Sri lanka High Commission/Consulate. Sri lanka High Commission/Consulate also reserves the right to decline/rejects an eVISA application without providing any reason whatsoever.

eVisaHelpDesk.org/srilanka is an individually website and has no affiliation with the Sri lanka Government.

It takes us 48-72 hours to get your visa processed. This time period does not weekends, public holidays, Sri lanka holidays, current country or region holidays and other holidays which may be announced.

As soon as the eVisa application is approved/rejected, applicants will receive an email notification regarding the eVISA application result from us. Application results may include the following status:

• On Approval - The eVISA application has been approved.

• On Rejection - The eVISA application has been declined.

• Request for Document - The Applicant is required to upload/re-upload supporting documents as specified by us on the email.

• Request For Interview - The Applicant is required to attend an interview session with the Sri lanka High Commission/Consulate before any approval decision is been made.

In case the applicant is asked to attend the interview, then he/she must ensure to be available as per the scheduled date and time set by the Sri lanka High Commission / Consulate to ensure the approval decision can be made accordingly.

Issuance or approval of an eVISA does not in any way guarantee the applicant the right to enter Sri lanka. The entry is at the sole discretion of the Sri lanka Immigration Officer at the entry point. In case of denial of visa or entry into Sri lanka by the Immigration Officer, Visa Sri lanka shall not be liable to the applicant in any manner.

Applicants shall furnish the following proofs to the Immigration Officers at the Entry/Exit points of Sri lanka Airport:

• eVisa

• Sufficient expenses (Cash / Credit Cards / ATM Cards)

• Confirmed return/onward tickets.

E-Visa fees once paid is non-refundable and non-transferable in any circumstances whatsoever.

As a condition of your use of this E-Visa Sri lanka Website, you warrant that you possess the legal authority to create a binding legal obligation in Delhi court, India. You will use this Website in accordance with these Terms of Use; all information supplied by you on this Website is true, accurate, current and complete and will supervise and be completely responsible for any Rejections whatsoever.

In case of denial of E-visa Sri lanka or entry into Sri lanka territory, eVisaHelpDesk.org/srilanka shall in no way be liable to the applicant in any manner whatsoever. Any Legal issues will be dealt with under the Laws of Delhi court, India.

Personal Data

The following requisite information is registered as personal information in this website’s secure database: name; place of birth; date of birth; passport information, including passport number, expiration date, date of issuance, and type of supporting document; email address; mailing address; phone number; connection log; information about the IP connection; cookies; and payment records.

Please note that any data that is registered on eVisaHelpDesk.org/srilanka won’t be exposed or shared with third parties, except: when the customer’s agreement can be obtained; when necessary for the maintenance or management of the system or of eVisaHelpDesk.org/srilanka ; when requested by law enforcement; or when notified as a form where personal information cannot be identified.

Denial or Cancellation of eVISA Online Application

The applicant must never: omit information that is required during the application process; provide false information; be considered unsuitable to complete the application (by not meeting the eligibility requirements); omit, ignore, or change the registration procedures.

If the applicant commits any of the acts described below, eVisaHelpDesk.org/srilanka reserves the right to disregard their registration and/or delete the client’s application and personal information.

If any of the above-mentioned acts are committed by an applicant, and if said applicant has already received an approved eVISA, this website reserves the right to cancel and delete the applicant’s information.

Using the Website

The use of eVisaHelpDesk.org/srilanka and its related services is restricted solely to personal use. Moreover, its users agree not to reuse, copy, change or download any part of this website for commercial use. eVisaHelpDesk.org/srilanka is private visa agency. It is not affiliated with the government.

Responsibility Exemption

eVisaHelpDesk.org/srilanka solely is applicable to eVISA by processing the client’s information. This means that the ultimate decision lies in the authority of the Sri Lankan government, and eVisaHelpDesk.org/srilanka cannot be held responsible for the result of the eVISA application. eVisaHelpDesk.org/srilanka will not be held responsible for eVISAs that are granted when the client provides false information or by mistake.

Temporary Service Suspension

eVisaHelpDesk.org/srilanka can suspend its service temporarily and provide advance notice to its clients for any of the following situations: when service must be suspended because of changes to the system management, technical difficulties, updates, or other reasons; when services cannot be maintained because of war, riots, labour disputes, or other public disturbances; when systems have to undergo urgent or standard maintenance; when services cannot be guaranteed because of an unexpected fire or failure in electricity; or when services cannot be continued due to a natural disaster, such as a flood, tidal wave, earthquake, etc.

Both the user and this website are in agreement that eVisaHelpDesk.org/srilanka will not be held responsible for the damage that a user may suffer as a result of service suspension, which could happen for any of the reasons listed above.


This website’s users cannot: commit criminal acts; copy, publish, or share offenses against the public morality; engage in any activities that can somehow cause a disadvantage for a third party; make insulting comments to this website, third parties, or other members; participate in any activities that violate this website’s copyright or intellectual property rights (this applies to all web users); spread or use harmful computer programs: or commit any other illegal acts.

If a member of this website causes a third party harm while using these services, the member in question will be the only one to be held responsible and will be summarily required to pay for all the costs that stem from the issue. eVisaHelpDesk.org/srilanka will not be held responsible for the damages caused by any members who use this website’s service.

If a user violates these Terms and Conditions, eVisaHelpDesk.org/srilanka reserves the right to proceed with legal actions.

Refunds or Cancellation Policy

Once we receive Application/Documents along with the payment, we initiate the Application Process for Submission to Embassy and Once Application is Submited to Embassy It can't be cancelled.

How to Cancel Application If you want to cancel your Application, please drop us a email to cancel the Application within an hour. We will Cancel your Application and Initiate Refund with a minor Deduction of 3% as transaction Charges

There is No Refund or Cancellation if Application is Submitted to Embassy/Governement Website.

100% Refund Applicable if We are unable to submit/complete Visa Application to Government Visa Website due to technical/server failure.

There is No Refund in case of trickery, if Visa Applicant provide Wrong Information intentionally; Like if Application Blacklisted or Banned due to Bad Travel History.

Please Note : No Refund on Rejection - We do not Guarantee on Visa Approval. Visa Approval/Rejection is completely Government's Decision, The High Commission reserves all the rights to refuse the eVisa application. Just applying for the visa does not guarantee that the eVisa will be issued. Our Task is to submit the Application error free.
